Beloved, the Workbook's first appearance of God.

After thirteen days of loosening, the lesson today introduces the alternative. The world that appears meaningless was not created that way. The meaningless world is the mind's projection. What God created — what is, the Course will later argue, the only thing actually real — is not the meaningless world.

We do not have to believe in God to do this lesson. The Course is generous about the word. God in the Course is the Source the mind has not lost contact with, however far the dream of separation seems to have gone. If the word is hard, you have permission to translate to the Source, Love, what is, or whatever language allows the lesson to land.

For today. Apply the idea. Notice the small steadying that arrives with the suggestion that the meaningless world is not the only thing on offer.
