About This Review
This is a review lesson in the ACIM Workbook. Review lessons revisit earlier ideas, allowing them to deepen and integrate into your awareness. Each review period is an opportunity to see these ideas with fresh eyes and a more receptive mind.
Practice Guidance
The review lessons are designed to consolidate the ideas you've been practicing. Spend time with each idea being reviewed, letting it settle more deeply than before. You may notice that ideas which seemed abstract or difficult when you first encountered them now carry a different quality.
Don't rush through the review. Each idea deserves your full, unhurried attention. You might find that your understanding has shifted in subtle ways since you first practiced these lessons.
Contemplation
As you review, notice which ideas resonate more strongly now than they did initially. This natural deepening is part of the workbook's design — each review builds on the foundation of daily practice.
From Walking the Workbook
The affirmation continues. Beloved, here we are.
The Workbook offers today's applied idea. Read it slowly. Let it sit with you.
By Day 208, the practitioner often notices that the affirmation has begun to arrive on its own. In moments when the mind was not expecting it. Walking between rooms, the sentence surfaces. Waiting in a line, the words appear. Falling asleep, the recognition is there. This is the practice becoming a friend of the mind, not a discipline imposed on it.
When the affirmation arrives unbidden, receive it. Do not push it away as an interruption. Do not try to extend it artificially. Let it come, let it be present, let it go again. The unbidden arrival is what we have been building toward. The discipline of the morning practice is giving way to a different relationship — the affirmation as companion, not as task.
For today. Read today's lesson in the Workbook. Repeat the affirmation. Notice if it arrives when you did not call it. Receive it with gratitude when it does.
