Manual for Teachers Overview
Who Is It For?
Despite its title, the Manual for Teachers is for everyone. In the Course's framework, a "teacher of God" is anyone who has made a deliberate choice to see things differently — to choose love over fear. If you're practicing the Course, you're a teacher of God.
Structure
The Manual is structured as a series of questions and answers, addressing 29 key topics. It's the most accessible of the three volumes and often serves as a helpful introduction to the Course's ideas.
Key Topics Covered
- Who are God's teachers?
- How is healing accomplished?
- What is the role of words in healing?
- Is reincarnation true?
- How should the teacher of God spend the day?
- What is the Last Judgment?
- What is the resurrection?
- What is the Second Coming?
How to Use It
The Manual works well as a reference — read the questions that interest you without feeling bound to go in order. It clarifies many concepts that can be confusing in the Text and provides practical guidance for applying the Course in daily life.
